The park was created in 1985, and its name honors the old vine cultivated in the valley where the reserve of 5 hectares is located. Mauritian hospitality, conservation of nature, and welfare of the animals are privileged in this magical setting, where our guides will take you on an unforgettable visit of the reserve.

In its rain-forested valley, La Vanille Nature Park has the largest number of giant Aldabra tortoises living in semi-liberty. Why not feed them scaevola branches, they love it!

The animator will welcome you!
Heading towards the Nursery of baby tortoises, you will be surrounded by the youngsters awaiting their leaves for the feeding. The animator will also share with you, our numerous conservation projects – current and new.
