This private domain is home to thousands of Java deers brought in Mauritius by the Dutch after their arrival in 1598, but also to wild pigs, monkeys and numerous varieties of birds. Throughout the walk in the domain of savannah, discover breathtaking views towards the mountains of The Black River Gorges National Park, and on kilometers of beautiful blue lagoons.

Yemen is a domain located on the West Coast of Mauritius, between the mountains of Tamarin and Les Trois Mammelles. It hosts two of the longest rivers on the island – Rivière Rempart and Tamarin River – and is a haven for all sorts of native wildlife. Comprising 4,500 hectares of parkland, a visit to the Yemen Reserve is like stepping into the middle of the African savannah.
