Embark on a full day trip on a comfortable solar powered Catamaran ! Cruising to the beautiful Ile aux Cerfs Island, guided by the South-East Trade Winds.
The catamaran cruise departs at 09.15a.m from the jetty of Pointe Jerome jetty. The cruise will take you on an exploration tour of the amazing islets surrounding the South-East coast of Mauritius island, during which you will be able to bask in the delightful coastal scenery. This natural spot adds color to your excursion with its surrounding rocks, greenery and fresh water.
During the course of the cruise, the catamaran will make a brief stop for a snorkelling break when you’re ready for a dip. After snorkeling, you will sail along the beautiful Eastern coast towards the Grand River South East Waterfalls. On approaching the location, you will be asked to board small speed boats to get closer to the magnificent waterfalls. See wildlife, such as monkeys jumping in the trees with their newborns, fruit bats hanging up in trees and the endemic bird ‘Paille en Queue’ flying high in the sky.
After this wonderful experience a delicious lunch will be served onboard. You can then head on a discovery trip of Ile aux Cerfs. On the island you will have numerous possibilities to do some exciting activities. The beach is wonderful for swimming in the crystal-clear waters under the big, blue sky and admiring the breathtaking views.
On the return trip, the bar services will still be available. The crew members will ensure the entertainment onboard through live musical performances to continue the fun. Expected arrival time back to Mahébourg is 15:30.
