toursbooking.mu based in Mauritius runs a platform for tourist offers in the form of an online offer via the internet (hereinafter jointly referred to as the “toursbooking.mu platform”). On the toursbooking.mu platform, users have the possibility to browse and book tours, local attractions, activities and experiences all over Mauritius. The online offer comprises guided tours, culinary experiences, sightseeing tours, transfers & trips, tickets for entry to sightseeing locations and other services.

Bookings through the Platform are subject to the General Terms and Conditions of toursbooking.mu. These standard terms and conditions shall form the basis of the agreement for you and your group’s holiday and shall apply to the exclusion of any other terms and conditions whether put forward by you, your group or a third party or whether implied by law or statute. 

1.       No warranty

While Toursbooking.mu tries to ensure that the information in or through the Website is accurate, it does not provide any warranties, express or implied, in relation to its correctness, completeness, current, reliability, suitability for any purpose or otherwise (including for any information provided by third parties). toursbooking.mu may change, add or remove information on the Website and its structure and functions at any time at its sole discretion, without specifically informing of any such change, and without removing outdated information or characterizing it as such. 

2.       Intellectual property rights

As between you and toursbooking.mu, the Website is and remains protected by copyright and/or any other intellectual property rights (including protection granted through unfair competition law). You acquire no rights in the Website, and in any names, trade names, and distinctive signs of any nature (including trademarks) published on the Website. 3.       Acceptance of the Terms and Conditions of Sale. 

The following sales terms are communicated to each customer every time he processes an order. Processing an order implies that the customer adheres to the Terms and Conditions of Sale.

Clients booking by web or e-mail will be deemed to have read and accepted the Booking Terms Conditions set hereof on toursbooking.mu website. Clients who processed their booking via third parties [such as family members, agents or hotel representatives,] will be deemed to have read and accepted the Booking Terms Conditions set hereof on toursbooking.mu website.

In a booking with more than one participants the ‘Client’ will be deemed to have accepted the terms and conditions on behalf of all participants as part of their party, group, family and are to participant and/or take part in the activity/tour/booked package. The ‘Client’ is the participant who makes the booking on behalf of all participants in a multi-participants booking and is named in the ‘Client’ field within the booking.

4.       Registration

During registration, the user sends an electronic registration form and consents to the General Terms and Conditions. The registration with ToursBooking is only concluded once a confirmation is sent to the e-mail address specified by the user. Natural individuals must be over the age of 18 in order to register. The user has to keep the password he/she sets secret and take suitable precautions to prevent third parties becoming aware of it. The creation of more than one user account for the same natural individual or legal entity is not permitted. The user account cannot be transferred.

5.       Reservations

All reservations are subjected to availability. Any disability requiring special attention should be reported at the time of booking. Toursbooking will make all reasonable attempts to accommodate the needs of the disabled tour participant. The person making the booking is responsible for making all members of his or her group aware of these conditions.

It is to be noted that Toursbooking does not display live availability for the various excursions featured on the website. All bookings will be confirmed by our customer service staff once a booking is made and as per the actual availability. 

6.       Booking

Once you have completed your payment, a Booking Confirmation will be sent by e-mail immediately after your card has been successfully processed. It is your duty to provide us with an accurate email address. Our Booking Confirmation e-mail will serve as proof of valid purchase and will contain relevant information about the purchase and particulars of the services concerned. Please read and check carefully all the information contained in your Booking Confirmation e-mail to ensure that it conforms to your reservation.

Booking for Specific Date - When choosing this order option, you will be asked to enter your preferred date for going on the activity as part of the order process. This option will entitle you to reserve and guarantee your place for this activity on a specific preferred time and date that suit you most. Please note that in case you order any activity which takes more than 1 day, the preferred date represents the date on which you would like to start the activity.

You are required to print and or present via smart phone or tablet your Booking Confirmation upon arrival to each supplier, failure to do so could cause the supplier to charge you on the spot. 

7.       Payments on toursbooking.mu

To use the payment functions of toursbooking.mu , the user has to register. The user has to enter correct payment information and update the details immediately in the event of changes. toursbooking.mu can reject the payment method specified by the user. The user will be notified of the payment methods permitted for the respective service during the order process. Upon the authorization of the payment, the user consents to his/her payment information being used for the collection of payments by the creditor.

toursbooking.mu uses the Credit Card secure online payment system. Online Reservations can only be made with a valid credit card. The order confirmed by the client will be considered valid only when approved by “MasterCard”. If MasterCard does not approve the transaction, the order will be automatically cancelled and the client will be informed by email.

toursbooking.mu does not charge a service fee for processing credit card payments. Full payment by credit card is required to make a reservation. Credit cards accepted are:

8.       Pricing of toursbooking.mu

All prices on toursbooking.mu are quoted per person and include VAT and all other taxes.

Kindly refer to the product description for the price of each specific Attractions, Activities, Tours and Excursions. The prices for the activities on the website are in Euros and other currencies. These specified prices may be subjected to special conditions, for example with regards to cancellation and the refunding of payments made. Before making the booking, please check precisely whether the respective service agreement is subject to separate conditions.

Prices are based on the local tariffs offered by our suppliers. As we act only as an agent for our suppliers, we and our suppliers reserve the right to change, amend or correct prices shown on our site at any time before or after you have booked.

Child rates are available for children based on the age definition specific to that product.

9.       Excursions

Please note that indicated return times are according to normal road and weather conditions and may change if conditions are unfavourable. Tours bookings aim to be accurate on the details shown on its website and in its offers but we make no commitment about the accuracy, completeness or timeliness of the Material.  Tours Booking also reserves the right to cancel scheduled tours, attractions and activities at any time in the event of hazardous weather conditions or unforeseen operational problems. toursbooking.mu reserves the right to refuse admission to anyone at its sole discretion.

You clearly agree that the use of this site is at your sole risk. Neither toursbooking.mu directors or employees warrant that use of this site will be uninterrupted or error-free, nor do they make any warranty as to;

Subject to the limitations set out in these terms and conditions and to the extent permitted by law, we shall only be liable for direct damages actually suffered, paid or incurred by you due to an attributable shortcoming of our obligations in respect to our services, up to an aggregate amount of the aggregate cost of your reservation as set out in the confirmation email (whether for one event or series of connected events).
